Life as a tertiary student is largely based on reading. Be it either self-printed lecture notes or thickly textbooks (plus references) as supposedly helpful reading material. No doubt it's beneficial knowing more information on what are you studying but it's no my cup of tea. I would rather read novels. (teehehe..)
Putting books aside, there is another problem. It is a major discomfort just listening to grammatically incorect sentences and miss pronunciation words from lecturers. Human beings do not fancy changes. Old habits die hard. But gradual change could result in something better to say the least.
*Sigh* One year plus more to go... (I tell myself).
Till then, cheers.
